For some it's just another day off or a day to enjoy a cookout or day at the beach. But for those who have loved ones who have given the ultimate sacrifice, this day can bring sadness.

Let's honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country by living a life that upholds the ideals for which they died: freedom, justice, equality, and peace.

Lord, thank you for the women who you allowed to nurture us, be an incredible example of love and sacrifice, and teach us wrong from right. Bless them today and everyday to know that their labor is not in vain. Amen.
